Types of accomodation
We offer rooms for all types of travelers and budgets. Every bed includes fresh sheets, a fan, and a private locker. A/C runs from 9 PM to 9 AM, ensuring a cool and comfortable sleep in the Nicaraguan heat. Poco a Poco Junior’s dorms feature privacy curtains, personal fans, and outlets, while Poco a Poco Hostel is gradually upgrading its beds.
For group reservations (8+ people), please contact our reception team. We welcome larger groups at Poco a Poco Junior, but not at the main hostel. Poco a Poco Hostel is slightly bigger with 42 guests and boasts more services/facilities. However Junior is to more tranquilo place to stay and newer, and you get to enjoy all the goodies at the main hostel too.

How did we get here?
In 2016, we stood at a crossroads: stay in the comfort of the familiar or take a leap of faith and chase our dream? We chose adventure. Nicaragua stole our hearts, and in 2017, Poco a Poco Hostel was born—built on friendship, hospitality, and the incredible people around us.
But one dream wasn’t enough. In 2018, we opened Mañana Mañana Café, a place to slow down and enjoy life. In 2023, Poco a Poco Junior followed, a smaller, more intimate hostel experience. And in 2025, we launched Hola Hola Tours to help travelers explore Nicaragua beyond the beaten path.
What makes us proud? Everything runs on local talent. We trained our team, gave them the tools to grow, and now they run the show. We believe in quality, connection, and doing what we love. What started as a leap into the unknown became the life we always dreamed of.
